Trident Hosts Fifth Annual Cornhole Tournament Benefiting Children’s Hospital at Erlanger
News

For the fifth year, we're hosting a community cornhole tournament to raise funds for the Child Life Program at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger. The event will be at the First Horizon Pavilion on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from Noon to 5 p.m. and is free to the public.

Striving to make it bigger and better than ever, we plan to have a kid’s area, VIP area, local musicians, a vendor village, local beer, food, and cocktails in addition to the cornhole tournament. Each team of two will compete in a round-robin style tournament and the top contenders will move on to single elimination championship rounds. Cornhole ATL will be the tournament director for the event and will handle the competition, run the tournament brackets, and referee if needed. First, second, third, and fourth place winners in each division will win cash prizes and trophies. Entry fee for the cornhole tournament is $100 per team. This registration fee includes entry for a team of two participants into the tournament, drink tickets, event shirts, and swag bags. Team registration can be purchased here.

Teams can fundraise prior to the event by setting up a fundraising page. Prizes for top fundraising teams will be given at the end of the event. You can set up your fundraising page here.

Tournament participants can choose to upgrade their registration to include VIP access. Trident’s VIP Area will be completely furnished for VIP patrons and will include unlimited food and drinks. VIP tickets can be purchased here.

The Kid’s Area will be packed full of fun activities for kids and families including the famous slime table from past year’s event.

Sponsors for this year’s cornhole tournament include Coca-Cola Bottling Co. United, First Horizon Bank, Goodstory, HHM, Reliance Partners, TheTap House, Pinnacle Bank, Pedego, All About the Bride, and more. Sponsorships are still available for purchase here.

We have a goal of $30,000 funds raised and this goal can only be accomplished with the help from local businesses and the community. All proceeds from this event go directly to the Children’s Hospital. You can find out more information about this year's tournament here!
